This collection features portraits of members of the Tennessee General Assembly from 1870-2016. The majority of these images are composite photographs, in which individual studio portraits were cut out and arranged into one larger image showing all the individuals together. Many of the portraits include the name and district of the legislator.

The images can be browsed by House, Senate, or Special Sessions.

Not all General Assembly portraits have been digitized, nor does the Library & Archives hold the physical orignal for all of the portraits in this collection. Further images will be added to the collection in the future as they are digitized.
