Historical note |
William Jennings Bryan, Jr. (1889-1978) was the only son of famed orator William Jennings Bryan. William Jennings Bryan, Jr. served as a lawyer for most of his professional career, practicing in Los Angeles after 1921. In 1938 President Roosevelt appointed him Collector of Customs for the Port of Los Angles, a position he held until his retirement in 1953. |
