Historical note |
This school had fifty-five students enrolled, two teachers, two classrooms, and was in session for eight months per year. The principal was W. L. Burnett. He taught grades 5-8, and Mrs. Carrie Skinner taught grades 1-4. The report issued by the Department of Education indicate that areas of deficiency, among others, included the school's scholastic record, community-mindedness, opportunities for athletic and cultural experiences, and science and shop. |
