Certificate of discharge from the Army of Tennessee for David A. Hickerson, a private in Captain James H. Lewis's Company C, 2nd Battalion, Tennessee Cavalry. At the time of discharge, he was 26 years old, 6 feet 1 inch tall, fair complexion, gray eyes, and light hair. Hickerson was a farmer by profession. Hickerson enlisted on July 9, 1861, and was discharged one year later due to illness. |
