Description |
Pickens wrote from Cincinnati to warn Edmund Hodges that Union troops were headed to East Tennessee. He described troop movements, though he could not reveal the route or number of soldiers. Noting that the force would arrive soon, he asserted that; "some buddy will have the fidler to pay." Pickens also reported that Ephraim and H. G. Hodges were doing well. |
