Nancy Paralee Hayes Robinson was born in DeKalb County, Tennessee on September 20, 1844. She died August 8, 1888 and was buried in Mt. Holly Cemetery in DeKalb County, Tennessee. This older, married woman is the popular "Miss Hayes" to whom letters [warr009-warr013] are written during the war from soldier friends and prospective beaus, one of whom, J. D. Robinson, became her husband. |
