John Travis Harrison, born August 31, 1825, in Tennessee. He enlisted in Co. F, 12th Ky. Cav. Regt., CSA, on April 10, 1864. He was killed in action at the Battle of Brice's Crossroads on June 10, 1864. He is buried at Brice's Crossroads near Baldwyn, Miss. Harrison was the first husband of Juda (also Judy or Julie) Frances E. Gibbs Harrison Hammond born in Virginia. She later married James (Jimmy) Hammond. |
