Carte-de-visite of Edward L. Buford who joined the 3rd Tenn. Inf. in May 1861 and was captured at Fort Donelson in February 1862. He was captured again in May 1864 at Muscle Shoals, Alabama, and sent; to Rock Island, Illinois. Buford was exchanged in March 1865 and paroled the following May. He was the founder of Buford Brothers Hardware. |
