Historical Note |
Two hundred-acre service right to land around Bledsoe's Lick. The community was named for Isaac Bledsoe, a pioneer and long hunter who built a fort on the site. Settlers in the region were open to attack by Native Americans who believed their hunting grounds were being destroyed. The town is now known as Castalian Springs and is located in Sumner County, Tennessee. |
