The exterior of a building in Saigon that Christopher Ammons has identified as the Saigon Zoo. It has a highly stylized roof and writing down either side of the entrance. Several trees are visible on the property, and a number of individuals can be seen in the street in front of the building. |
Historical Note |
When Ammons took this photograph, he was on leave in Saigon, where he met up with fellow soldier Karl Knudson. They enjoyed many of the sights in Saigon, including the zoo, the Presidential Palace, and the U.S. Embassy. |
