On Motion of William McFarland
Resolved That the House of Representatives of the United States has received with the deepest sensibility and profound sorrow intelligence of the death of the Hon. Andrew Johnson, late a Senator from the State of Tennessee, Ex-President of the United States and long a member of this House.
Resolved, That the proceedings of this House in relation to the death of Hon. Andrew Johnson be communicated to the widow and family of the deceased by the Clerk of the House.
Resolved, That as a further mark of respect for the memory of the deceased, this House do now adjourn.
