Historical note |
The Chattanooga armory was erected in 1943 by the State of Tennessee, the City of Chattanooga, Hamilton County, and the Works Progress Administration. Clarence T. Jones was the architect. Governor Cooper's address at the ceremony was broadcast by radio. |
